During the 2015 BFRO Wisconsin Expedition Larry and I took a team up to a ridge where we had heard knocks the previous year. We also sent a team down a trail a bit over a mile away to try to flush something to us. What eventually happened was a series of our knocks being repeated from locations where we did not have teams present. One of these knocks was right in front of Larry and Myself. Luckily, it was all recorded and you can watch it as well on a video spectrogram. I cannot say for certain what it was but it was spooky and fun for those of us who were out there in the dark.
