Large-scale #climatechange projects are giving scientists a window into how rising temperatures and increased carbon dioxide could alter ecosystems in the future.

Asmeret Asefaw Berhe, the director of @Energy's Office of Science, recently visited two projects led by ORNL.

On a peat bog in northern #Minnesota, she toured the Spruce and Peatland Responses Under Changing Environments, or SPRUCE, project.

From the #peatlands to the #permafrost, she then traveled to #Alaska to visit the Next-Generation Ecosystem Experiments, or NGEE Arctic.
