Edison films always tend to be a hit or miss with me. Some, like HOW THE OFFICE BOY SAW THE BALLGAME (1906) or A ROMANCE OF THE RAILS (1903) just don't work for me. Others, like 1912’s THE LAND BEYOND THE SUNSET and this one, 1910’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL, are underrated masterpieces. One of the first three silent films I ever saw, 1910's A CHRISTMAS CAROL has always held a special place in my heart. Enjoy it here with my accompaniment!
