Charley Straight was a prolific composer ("Red Raven Rag" "Humpty Dumpty Rag") and performer of ragtime. His rolls are among some of the most unique and distinct in the business. I personally consider Straight to be an influence on my playing and style. Here's one of my favorite rolls of his: "Down In Honky Tonk Town" by Chris Smith and Charles Mccarren from 1915.
