The Bird from Weber came out to much scrutiny a bit over a year ago. While I appreciated its innovation, build quality, and feel while using, it simply was not for me- meaning it would never enter my daily forray of coffee equipment. That said, when I saw this new, travel and *more* budget friendly alternative, I had to grab one. The coffee tubes were enough to sell me on the idea.
