Feeling generous, I gave you guys three videos for the next week or two. One improvement over Panga's run is screenscrolling the red koopa off of its tile instead of doing it like I intended.

Noteworthy is the fact that this run can be improved were one to keep Yoshi until the end, where Mario can jump off of him and gain a larger y height, allowing for an earlier end of input. I did not do this because it is simply less entertaining.

Were Glitch Abuse 3 a ghost pepper, Item Abuse 3 would be the chocolate bhutlah. It is the funnest and most difficult hack I personally have ever TASed.
I would like to personally thank Panga, because he is the reason I started TASing persistently in the first place way back when I made the shell abuse series as a novice hacker.
This has to be one of the first hacks I've played where no breaks seem to be found. However, like Walljump Abuse, that variable could prove to be modifiable.

Blah blah blah tool assisted blah blah cool things. Specific TASing information can be found at http://www.tasvideos.org
I do hope you all enjoy watching my TAS as much as I did playing the hack.
Original trick: youtube.com/watch?v=5Nwcggojnds
Amaraticando also technically discovered the corner clip without max speed, another game-breaking find (although it was rumored that a couple people had done it before, and Mister and ISM definitely knew about it and did it in the Kaizo 3 TAS before Amaraticando looked into it).
The long awaited TAS is finally here! I have taken quite a lot of breaks in between the TASing of this, and decided at the beginning of this week that it was time to finish it. This version of the hack is (now) currently the most updated one. You can find it here:
http://bin.smwcentral.net/u/17388/Glitch%2BAbuse%2B3.ips
The hack was actually quite simple, but, as you can tell from the re-record count, the shelljump bits were not to disappoint. The changes in the newest version include the the bottom section of the shelljump bit in the green forest shelljumping/puzzle room, and the double noteblock section of the ice cave with the disco shell action. The puzzle in the mentioned green room is actually impossible unless you go back to retrieve the green shell, as stunned moles only allow you to duplicate blocks upwards.
Despite it ancestors, GA3 did not have any major breaks. Any game-breaking things that were attempted were prevented by the use of gray cement blocks for dirt rather than a regular dirt tile. The biggest breaks (if you can count them as such) were in the very first room, where I skip the stun glitch with the hopping flame, and at the end of the ice cave room, where I skip an elaborate (and time-consuming) screen-scrolling section.
This Glitch Abuse was definitely more difficult than the first two, as most simple-looking bits are very precise or frame perfect. A good example of this is the triple shelljump in the first auto-scrolling room. If you want to be able to attempt this hack and successfully beat it, you will have to know a bit about the game's glitches (or just research the tricks I used in the video :P).
This tas is quite sloppy, and I feel like sub 2:00 is definitely within the spectrum of possibilities for times.
This hack was recently made by me but not as a pit hack, rather as a kaizo hack. As a pit hack, this is completely broken, but it is pretty much break-free by kaizo standards.
If you would like to play it for yourself, go here:
http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section&a=details&id=6468
Man who made this broken hack? (:P)
Anyways, definitely completely shattered one of my old hacks to pieces due to all of the new tricks I have learned and/or investigated since I made it.
I feel like this is a bit slow, but it shows off what you can actually pull off with the given resources. Also, I was able to find that you can base clip (clip into a block from its bottom) from the recoil of a shell on yoshi, as shown in the scrolling brown cave room.
This beats my old run with Jay (13:30) and also beats the run by Amaraticando (11:47.62). Also, this uses version 1.0, while the other two runs used the new version, because of a clip that was thought to be impossible but was in fact possible.
Improvements:
"Sunshine" room
I was able to optimize the block duplication by immediately spitting the yellow shell out at y sub 60, and use two keys instead of three to enter the door.
Blue Cloud Room
No extra shelljump was needed after bouncing off of the screen-scrolled koopa.
Shelljump Chain Green Room
A quick screen scroll was done after the initial screen scroll for the second-to-last koopa, and also a walljump was able to be done to grab the end shell instead of waiting for the koopa.
Disco Shell Yellow Room
I have tried a lot to avoid using the koopas at all in this room, but it is not possible for two given reasons in which I need more than one shell when I only have one to work with. Other than that, tried to avoid bouncing on the disco shell as much as possible, as it slows you down briefly.
Red Room
No extra walljump was needed after the one tile muncher clip; used the p switch to enter the door quicker than flying around, which also skips the "got cape" freeze animation.
Green Room
This is where v1.0 comes in. Using the blue yoshi you get in the previous room, you are able to clip the block (which was the originally thought impossible bit), and get the shell. From there, you can gain sprinting speed on the top of the level, and jump to the end.
Orange Lava Autoscroll Room
This room actually does have an improvement, and that is skipping the yoshi hatch animation by keeping the original yoshi for the end bit.
Ice Room
No real improvement here, just manipulation of items to make them end up in the right spot.
Orange Warm Outside Room
Again, no real improvements go on here.
Purple Flying Room
Used perpetual air catches and flight manipulation to gain air quicker.
64 Speed Room
No real difference, keeping 64 speed until the end.
Red Forest Autoscroller
No improvement. I tried but am 99% sure you cannot keep the initial yoshi past the p switch part, which would skip the other's growth animation. Also, doing so would make me need to get him underneath the level briefly to get past the future one tile gap, which needs the left side of the screen, which would delay me from getting to the door. In conclusion, pulling it off would lose time.
First Water Room (Blue)
I was able to get the first cycle of the urchin instead of waiting.
Also, a little trick tutorial: wall clipping underwater just requires you to get to 33 speed and f0 subpixel at any position, and then use 1/1 swimming to get it on every other frame, allowing a wall clip.
Purple Key Room
No real improvement here.
Brown Castle Room
Another auto-scroller, and so no improvement here.
Murky Water Room
I was able to hit the flying hammer brother early, and be shoved into the area that normally you would have to wait for the p switch to run out to get into. EDIT: Wow. I could have just directly gone to the door, without needing yoshi. Mark that as a possible improvement on this run.
Outside Flying Room
I could corner clip the initial ledge, which is actually solid, and fly under the level to the end door.
Dark Cave Room
No real improvement on this auto scroller, although I was able to use a trick to get yoshi into the next room, and fly to the end of the level, putting me in the final sprint.
Final Sprint (Second to last room)
No real improvement. However, I tried for the longest time to use the second message box as a ceiling and quickly enter the door with flight, and I was able to get it, but on the first frame, which still displayed the message in the next room. So, the theory was trashed.
Final Room (Boo Boss)
More corner clip action, I used perpetual air catches and more quick catches to gain air faster.
The hack's name is Sup, but the actual level's name (which the first one is linked to) is Inferno.
This was a short hack, but the custom music was nice, as were the custom backgrounds.
This hack is like a kaizo version of Walljump Abuse. The music was a good play, but this hack could become a bit repetitive after a while if you were playing through this without slowdowns.
Happy New Year everyone. This was one of the very first kaizo hacks that I've seen take some precaution for people like me to come along and break it. There are still a couple breaks, but things like walljumping over a giant wall to run to the finish or corner clip in some place were scarce. There's two more levels to this hack, but I don't know if I want to continue on this TAS.
So yeah, I'm probably not ever going to finish this, but I happened to get online again and realized I had forgotten to post the WIP.
This was uploaded earlier in the year. I forgot I had it until I remade all of my videos public.

Been trying this all day. I am sooooo close to hitting the shell a third time. Persistence is a given.
EDIT: 1:05:15 AM;;;;; GOT IT! OMG I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS FREAKING BIT FOR OVER ONE DAY NONSTOP AND I FINALLY FREAKING GOT IT.
A hard hack testing not only your knowledge but also your TASing skills and dedication. This hack comes with new palettes, vanilla re-assembled backgrounds, puzzles, and glitches you may have never imagined.

On an unrelated note, I haven't been on lately that much, and it's due to the fact that the sun is shining bright and I have the option to go outside. However, hopefully new TASes and this hack will be WIPs over this next time interval. Not to disappoint but this is all I have cooked up so far. However, it only took about two days to create and test.

Second time the 3rd of a second thing has happened for the run time. Anyways, after finding this break, and then taking a break from TASing myself, I have finally decided to resume (and finish obviously) this hack. I never enter the cave, since the entire area is connected.
Also notice that the part with the shell can likely be improved, so the optimization is a bit meh. The walljumps are optimized, and if you saw my video up earlier (which I took down) I go through a lot of trouble, making another bullet spawn, and keeping yoshi and the shell in the process. I found that only the shell was needed, although skipping a cycle of walljumps may in theory be possible if you time a shelljump ridiculously well with yoshi.

Hack by RapperVsMario
Another hack that was fun to break. That spring break was pretty tight, since I had to relocate the spring, and then grab it so that I could re-grab the shell, so that I could get to the spring which I placed on the note block.
Also, I went to the back doctor yesterday (in case you didn't know I had a severe back fracture and slippage of the vertebra for about the last two years) and he says that I will be fine. I will be active outside a lot again, so updates will be pretty scattered.
Timing begins upon start and ends at the "end level" SFX.

Also, this was just a problem with my laptop. I'm gonna get into sprite coding here sometime this month. The code shown here is just a simple scratch RAM read, and I found a vital mistake to its functionality on the unlock block. I know that this type of thing has been made before.
Showing my lua script because I'm kewl like that.
I might as well announce now that I'm working on an smw any% run, and you may or may not know. So far I have a 2 frame improvment and am collabing with Rodrigo. However, the thing is that tasvids only accepts bizhawk movies now. Bizhawk won't run on this computer that I'm currently using. Yes I've installed the needed requirements, so that's not the problem. I do think that the main error is that this computer sucks when it comes to hard drive space, because it ony has 18 gigs worth of it, and a good fraction of that is microsoft stuff that I can't uninstall.
Yes, I know. I'm bad for reuploading, but I got paranoid for optimization =P. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then just ignore this. I scrapped together my other run, and there's still an improvement (maybe) in this run.
This is a four second improvement over TehSeven, and this time I actually took time to meet certain conditions (such as hitting the koopa at the lowest point of its sprite hitbox). If anyone wants to start a frame war, you're on.

If you have any questions, comment.
The positioning for this glitch is very precise and requires a great deal of time and strategy. The basic strat is to jump with a speed of 3 or less, storing 77 to your y speed. Then, you'll want to release B for two frames after jumping, and a third frame on the first frame you can without running into the block. When you come into contact with the block's side, have a subpixel of 00 to successfully skip a lower pixel, and release left at one frame between the time that you release B for the third time and the time that you hit the block's side. This is a VERY precise glitch, and don't feel bad or discouraged if you can't do it, for you always have running clips =P. By the way, look for the Y speeds "7, 4," and "1" when doing this, as they are critical values for clipping the block.
http://bin.smwcentral.net/u/18906/Block%2BClipping.ips
I have not known about this glitch at all until yesterday. Although it's not the hardest thing to pull off, it's very fun to do and just watch people's reactions when you go into a block like it's not even there.

Wow lots of 3s in the time (it's 1/3 of the second exactly). Fun hack, and I enjoyed it, even if some of the FG was screwed up. In case you are wondering, the water reverses your controls (Left = Right; Right = Left) and the red tiles are not custom, they are the lava tiles with a bad hitbox, and they act as water from the sides and the bottom.
Also, happy (late) birthday Nicolas.
EDIT: Crap I just realized that the ending block in the flying room only checks for 5 coins. Gusapno, next time use a coins reset gen or go into detail with your block coding.

Found a couple new breaks, making it so that only one level was done correctly. This run almost makes me laugh at my other run. Also, the "movie end" didn't spawn at the right time. Note that I re-ended to make it so it did.

I think that I broke it a bit :P. Sorry if the ending is boring a bit, but it would take forever to do that room the normal way.

NEW: Seems someone or something has deleted my video that I posted of this earlier. Just recently, my other email account was hacked, and I hope someone isn't hacking and deleting my videos, because that would be a gay move.
Quite a fun hack. I couldn't put it down once I picked it up. This is an improvement over Sotel11's and Canenari's (almost finished =P) run. It was all an enjoyment until the very end, because only one key can be put into the keyhole, and I ended up following the path from the two keys three times.

Hack by TheFinalBoss726. I for some reason love hacks that were created to murder you. This TAS contains a boat load of IACs, and for that it's a rare chance for me to show off my epic flying skillz.
Hack made by an awesome person, Nicolas Monzon (youtube.com/user/rappervsmario)
I absolutely love this astonishing hack, and may retas it, because I do see a major improvement, but for now it's a good run, not to say that it will not be improved with other breaks, because a lot of people have more of a keen eye than myself.

This is a major improvement over my last run, and I love this hack so much. I also saved a whole minute over my last TAS, and most of the breaks' credits go to Jay, although I did find some more minor ones, nothing game breaking though.

Here's a TAS that I think you might enjoy, besides the point that it's been a while until I've actually uploaded a TAS, and partly because it is awesome. The hack itself has bad paletting, and a huge break in the vertical room with spikes. This beats the last TAS by quite a bit, and I did a few improvements. If you take out all of the badly-made aspects, this actually isn't a bad hack. I played this partly because I needed ideas for LTST. A bit of the first level is going to be made for kaizo-players.
Secondly, in the middle of last year, right after I released Pit Of Trials, my computer decided to malfunction. It would only charge when off, limiting myself from the TASing community until I found a solution. About a month later, I would find this computer laying around, and although it is old, it works. It is pretty slow, and I happened to have an ethernet cable so that I could upload some videos (this laptop doesn't have wireless internet). However, only the 2D games could be TASed, since the laughably low amount of freeRAM in this laptop slowed down the emulation by quite a bit, and it would take about two hours to film a 1:30 TAS.
The start of school came a while later, and we got netbooks (how exciting -_-) for our schoolwork. I was able to run the 3D games on it, and, TAS it, which brings me here. The savestate time still takes about a second to save, and if anyone has a solution (or even read this far in the description) then I would deeply appreciate it. I could be TASing more games at this point, but unfortunately this game might not be included since people have already discovered tons of tricks for it to beat the game under 20 minutes, and I doubt that that will improve.
Not to be irrelevant, but my internet is ridiculously laggy today. It took me about 20 minutes to actually get to the upload screen (Not an exaggeration) and even when I type it lags.
Also, probably gonna redo this, since there is an unnecessary screen scroll in the castle. Gotta love game breaking shortcuts as well.
Also, for competing TASes, frame input ends on the first frame of credits.
LOL youtube thinks my video is shaky because I bypassed the vertical scroll.

Yay finally I felt like I should do this, and I've never actually released a TAS of this yet. It wasn't nearly as hard as when I first created it. The hard part was optimizing it. Also, I found out how to do infinite flying recently, and put it to good use.
Something of note is that I TASed v1.1. If you want it then just ask and I'll upload it into my file bin.
Enjoy!
