the recording is dogshit because i tried to use the garbage microsoft recording instead using classic obs c:
LONG TEXT BELOW:
but how hard was this? i'll detail the hardest parts for me, and why. if you wonder why i picked this over gh3 chart, this is my answer: while this chart was harder (for me), it was more fun than GH3's chart. the lack of grace notes makes this better to execute, and everything feels very consistent except for solo c and outro. i am also better at hitting forced strums patterns instead of those hopo/strums, just like how the ENTIRE FUCKING GH3 CHART IS.
hardest parts:
1:23 - it's not too bad, but i spent some time finding the best method for it. alt tapping did it pretty well, but since it's kinda confusing when you look at it, it took some time for me to get used to the pattern.
3:09 - i could get this transition 10 times in a row in practice mode. but doing it after 3 minutes is stressful, and i only could get it 3/4 of the runs. most of my mistakes were by panicking and tapping before strumming the last note. learning the method was not easy either because how the pattern is structured (anchor green, fret R Y and alt tap B R Y B Y B O Y B O was bugging my brain). same issue in the outro.
4:07 - surprisingly the transition from 200bpm strumming to 170bpm is REALLY chokeable. got me in a few runs.
4:52 - i hate how this part is charted, and that strum note in the middle of a bizarre tapping pattern is really unpleasant. i couldn't elbow strum because i got overstrums quite often.
5:04 - this is really easy to miss as well :)
5:30 - infamous solo c. this is so bad, clone hero often eats your strum notes when they're too close to hopos, so i had to be really precise. at first i had a rake strum method but it was not great to execute and it was fucking up my index finger, so i decided to brute force the hard way.
6:03 - 32nd notes were really easy to miss as well, you gotta be really quick with the tapping here. in practice it's not bad, but when you're 6 minutes in the song, it's hard to not panic.
the rest of the solo is fine, nothing amazing about it.
7:06 - this part is not that bad but if you fret too fast you'll miss a lot. this is another part that i hate how it's charted, but it is what it is.
7:16 - this is the worst thing i've ever learned in my entire life. i had one choke in here and i felt my soul dying. the transition from the first strumming to tapping is awful. the pattern is hideous. it lasts 5 seconds but it feels like an hour. this is the worst part of the song by far.
other than that it was really fun and i'm glad it's over.

this is the recording of every successful attempt of clearing this hack. everything here was done rta which makes me feel really proud of myself :)
yes the boss (Alpha Centauri, I changed the lore) is really inspired by kaizo 3 bowser, and there is a secret buffed version, Omega Centauri (which I copied from wyatt's omega fennel). Good luck trying it.
this hack is going to be released soon, so stay tuned!
Crescendo is my new kaizo hack, inspired by the original Kaizo Mario (1-3), along with new features such as custom blocks, sprites and the glorius retry system. This video covers both secret exits, the red switch and the entire special world. Thanks for watching!

Crescendo is my new kaizo hack, inspired by the original Kaizo Mario (1-3), along with new features such as custom blocks, sprites and the glorius retry system. This video covers the last 4 non-special levels (Action and Reaction, Far Beyond Heaven, Tom Sawyer's Grave and The Welter). Next level features 2 secret exits and the secret special world.
00:01 - Action and Reaction
02:33 - Far Beyond Heaven
04:12 - Tom Sawyer's Grave (Normal Exit)
06:33 - The Welter
Quick explanation for Tom Sawyer's Grave: The main gimmick of this level is the pseudosolid floor, which becomes passable if the player is fast enough. The secret exit's tip hides on another level...

my best fc. period.
but i can't fc full song faster than 115 at this point because of the stupid power-metal-like strumming of this shit song
sorry for bad quality but the video was 1,34GB and i couldn't upload that shit, so thats wy I render it like a piece of garbage
and sorry for victory solo i-j, i couldn't fix it too
Nah, actually I didn't put really much effort on that, even the name wasn't that creative. Hope this is fun to play, except for Straining Solo and Enlightened Solo, which are freaking madness imo.
Some points about the song:
00:41 - This IS NOT wrong charted. The first high note belongs to the rhythm track.
05:10 - I don't know how to name these patterns. Maybe slide chimneys...?
06:38 - I fixed these taps at the hard chart, but I'm too lazy to record another video.
This song is really really shit. I will have some fun with fl studio so I can use better effects and better instruments. Maybe a new song in the future... idk

Definitely the best thing you will see here is Enlightened Solo A, took more than a week to get with ghnoob's slide tapping method. This video is a bit buggy and I don't know why there are some desyncs between the audio and the video.
Short section montage coming soon
