Jurors heard a 911 call Monday from witnesses who came upon Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan after he was fatally shot in Jacksonville Beach. The testimony came during the murder trial of Mario Fernandez, who is accused of funding a murder-for-hire plot targeting Bridegan, his wife’s ex-husband. Witnesses initially approached Bridegan’s SUV because it was blocking the road, believing someone needed help, before discovering Bridegan in a pool of blood. His 2-year-old daughter was still inside the vehicle and told the witnesses she “heard a boom.”
