Crystal Scott begged for mercy during her sentencing Wednesday after admitting she posed as a nurse and treated diabetic children without a nursing license. Scott admitted to treating at least 12 children, ages 6 to 13, and writing at least 24 fraudulent prescriptions using forged physician signatures. During her emotional plea, Scott said she only wanted to help children and their families and asked the judge not to take away her VA benefits.
