Several police officers recalled being assigned to guard Marion "Suge" Knight's residence on September 7, 1996. The officers described his role during the night of the Mike Tyson boxing event in Las Vegas, Nevada. Knight and rapper Tupac Shakur were shot in a drive-by shooting after the fight. Duane "Keffe D" Davis is accused of planning and orchestrating the drive-by after a beating involving his nephew, Orlando Anderson. Tupac died from his injuries days later.
