Shortly after its release, DMA was sued by Pixar who claimed that the unicycle matched the design and concept from their 1987 short film "Red's Dream". They lost the suit and were ordered to produce no more cartridges of the game after the initial run of 300,000 copies. DMA was eventually bought by British company Gremlin interactive and eventually became part of Take Two Interactive, a subsidiary of Rockstar Games)
