It was based on a true story involving experiments done in the late 60's with the drug L-DOPA on patients inflicted with sleeping sickness. It was nominated for best picture at the Oscars but lost to "Dances With Wolves")

34. Phil Collins at Camelot Records (Just five years before this in 1985 Phil Collins would have felt completely at home on MTV...but by 1990 with all of the rap and heavy metal in their rotation his music feels a bit like "dad rock" that most teens or young adults in 1990 would not be into)
