The U-Boats of the Second World War were some of the most successful weapons used by Germany. But in 1944 they would deploy an entirely new type of weapon. The single seat submarine, also known as the Human Torpedo, would go into service and take part in a number of operations, resulting in the sinking of Allied ships. But were they actually any good?
