The Medal of Honor is the highest Military Award for Bravery in the United States Military. All those who receive the award have shown exceptional bravery. Sergeant Thomas A. Baker was no exception. During WWII on the island of Saipan, he single-handedly took out a fortification with a bazooka. He then took out a group of 12 enemy soldiers and a few moments later a further 6 enemy soldiers. He was involved in the defence of the largest Banzai attack of the war. After being wounded his last act would earn him the Medal of Honor. In today's video, we tell the story of Sgt Baker's heroic actions during WW2.
