LACS FA is slightly faster than GTG Chus FA and lenient bomb count, so basically it's better
updated 5 years ago
The setup is based on PsyMarth's one: youtu.be/ZHb-e6RHrek
As long as I tested, it seems this works from every entrance (Lost Woods, DMT, Goron Shop and even from DMC). Also it doesn't matter if gate to darunia room is opened or not. There might be something to muss up with this trick though.
It's 5-6 sec slower than statue clip with weird clip/damage clip if you used chus. Also as for explosiveless way, still slightly slower than pot push clip with 2 pause. So it's not fast way but really easy way to save a explosives at least.
Weird Clip Setup: (by Sniping): youtu.be/oHzfAb3JMys
Damage Clip + Pot Push Clip Setup (by blini): youtu.be/UCnoWTA4xE8
Jenslang's Setup: youtu.be/Z2-k6dYlvAw
Fenyan's Setup: youtu.be/4_m49wRqfoI
So Jenslang asked me if there is no hover boots way and I found this setup. You can skip equipping hover boots but jumslash frame is larger with hover boots way, so I don't know if it's worth to do but anyway.
Sword Setup: youtu.be/F7sYUIiqGhs
Sword Setup (No Shield Scoot): youtu.be/HWSa9hqtN64
Deku Stick Setup: youtu.be/6IZgJpCdIOc
Sideroll Jump + Jumpslash onto the fence was known trick and it's JavaScript's setup as an example: youtu.be/W3uPuVdeqgA
Also dannyb (and maybe more people) seemed had idea using this trick while carrying cucco. I came up with same idea and made this setup.
It's hard to say how lenient this trick is, but jumpslash can be 4 frames in max and the position can be lenient if you don't care jumpslash frames. So I believe it's not too hard.
Rosewater and I had non-initial angle setup as well, but new setup seems 0.5-1 sec faster even with rolling to corner. So it's good for backup.
Rosewater's Setup: youtu.be/fCqBCROojog

Original way for Boatkey Skip was found by blini, but HESS Boatkey Skip was found by me: youtu.be/F_diUol4U1E
I thought clipping was inconsistent first, but we figured out it can be consistent with correct way and Tob made nice setup which I linked above. But his setup used sword, so I made swordless setups. It's not fast setup and I think we can make fast one if you don't care about rolling frame. I just wanted 4 frames rolling.
So frame perfect part is Z + R only and it might be easier than SS way for some people. Annoying point is you can get 3 different angle depends on when you rolled for HESS and it changes good timing for angle change and jumpslash. But still both are enough lenient.
Here is some notes for this trick
- You have to hold ESS straight right for HESS
diagonal input can change Link's HESS angle. so it requires straight right, but it's easy to do since it's same as ESS turn right (thank you Jolin for this info)
- Basically rolling is 4 frames, but 1st frame (last small black) can be inconsistent
This is because bomb coordinate changes by Link's breathing youtu.be/Iz0D6N5i_0w
It doesn't matter for instant shield drop but it does for overhead drop. For HESS Boatkey Skip, clipping doesn't work if you dropped 2nd bomb on/after 4th bomb appearing frame + rolled on the last small black frame. It seems same for Tob's setup as well.

dotzo removed annoying chu part by using twisted hookshot thing: youtu.be/Y1tD1kHNPRM
dotzo's setup still needed an explosive to blow up gossip stone, but I found you don't need it from a specific position.
It might be useful for bingo task "open x gold rupee chests" when you want to save explosives but failed hess.
Triple Slash Clip is known technique in 3D OoT, but there wasn't the way for using in vanilla OoT except some Navi Dive: youtu.be/AcRwkBSbsNE
But a guy in discord found clipping works by using Navi (I called "a guy" because he doesn't have decent name): imgur.com/a/l2Jimhy
And clouds617 found you can clip into the wall to magic with this as child: clips.twitch.tv/OutstandingBovineMushroomVoteNay
So I tried this as adult and it worked. I think It would be useful in Low% MST, some No Inventory Explosives categories and some situation for bingo or Beta Quest.
Interestingly, Din's Fire Route is 25 sec faster than Fire Arrows Route for N64 MST. It's still much slower than VC but got close a bit anyway.
If you're interested in the concept and detail of the route, please check this (The concept is in sheet 1, LACS FA Route is sheet 2, Child 2 DF + Bombs Early Route is sheet 3): docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1S7fC2hJGu_Lc6kmucEF5VoCogm9CZZM_uPjVSszedOE/edit?usp=sharing
Shoutouts to Hylian Freddy for nice find using DF: youtu.be/Z8FHstgutbY
Also thank you Adarax for checking comparison and some improvement idea.
DF route is faster (and cool imo), but it requires some hard tricks like WESS Escape, Shadow Boatkey Skip, Shadow Trial HESS Hoverslide and so on. Personally the worst thing is the route doesn't have good place to get HC for 5 hearts and you need to do 4 hearts Fire and Fire Trial if you want to go fast. Also bomb count is kinda tight in the second half of the route... so it's faster but just a new option for now I guess.
Btw I ignored some fast tricks for easier comparison. For example, technically DF route side can save more few seconds by superswim from HESS KZ Skip. But the timesave is barely if you do safely for consistently, so it's not worth to use: youtu.be/8v4ZFCGet0Y
The difference number can change if considered like that tricks, but these are only few seconds timesave in max. So it should be fine to ignore for route comparison.
There was concept since before by Tob youtu.be/T8Qm_kFEYqw?t=91
Also Tharo's TAS video was a help to find position to ground clip through main room doors: youtu.be/a7QyaTEV1SM
I just confirmed it's possible and show some setups for it.
0. set FW at Jabu entrance
1. go to DC, go through the door to bomb bag room (to set the last entrance "room 9")
2. ground clip through the door to switch room (this clipping is really easy, you can clip by doing it just normally)
3. climb up the step (where has switch normally), megaflip through to bombflower stairs room (this clipping is really easy too, just doing megaflip to the door from high place)
4. get ISG and hover to hole of stairs, FW dive to Jabu (normally there is stairs here like small video shows at 1:19 but there isn't if the room is unloaded and can CS dive to this hole)
5. hold down-right and jumpslash, then you can land pre-bossroom in Jabu (only boomerang room (room 9) is loaded)
6. ground clip through the door to lift room (just make 2 frames ESS left angle and clip from right end of the door)
7. over the gap with hover boots (you can megaflip over it if you don't have hover boots)
8. ground clip through the door to main room (get straight angle, stand left end of the door and horizontal slash, then clip with keeping this "line")
9. ground clip through the door to branch room (clipping part is same as step 8)
10. you can open the door to boomerang room, kill stingers and get boomerang
Btw I used FW dive from unloaded stairs hole, but nat told me blini found a FW dive way using block: youtu.be/R-vBdau-Czc
It should be faster if you can use the block under the ladder in the bomb bag room, but it seems this FW dive is precise and not friendly for RTA yet.
Either way, I think it's slower than just hiking with Ruto and I don't know if there is a case it can be faster. But I hope this video would be a hint for true Ruto Skip in the future.
There are good setups for Spirit Temple side, but there isn't for Fire Trial side except Zudu's setup. So I made initial and non-initial setups.
Btw for initial setup, you can get 4 different angle even if your horizontal slash isn't late (24066, 24067, 24082, 24083), but every angle works for clipping, so it should be fine: youtu.be/SEJSuEKWu_8
"Origin" SS Clip Setup (by Exodus): youtu.be/V9L-ePeEhH0

It seems clipping doesn't work if you did 2nd bomb drop (center drop) on the 1st frame. so it's bad if you prefer fast bomb drop and here is better setup for swordless non-initial: youtu.be/idNDyPjG--o
Boatkey Skip with SS bomb push clip is found by blini: youtu.be/kSoPOYfQCNw

Clipping with 1 frame ESS angle and SS way without NL are found by me
Visual cue idea for unequipping hover boots by dannyb
Also Jolin made initial setup for swordless: youtu.be/6Ak1nwlDQiI
SS part is kinda tricky and you should need some pause buffering for it. But after clipping part is much easier than the other angle since you just need to hold left. So this way might be better if you hate diagonal input rather than many pause buffering.
Btw the order of 2nd and 3rd bomb is reversed from old way., because you need to wait a bit after bomb drops and center shield drop first should be better than instant first since center shield drop takes time than instant (it's Jolin's idea)
(EDIT) OoT discord guys found the clipping would be consistent if you use ESS right for HESS instead of diagonal direction. This ESS right means the direction usually you use for 90 degrees right turn, so it should be easy. It still requires specific rolling frame though (I used big black frame for rolling but Tsundere told me it works with the last small red frame, so it should be 2 frames)
(EDIT2) Tob found rolling frame can be 4 frames by using horizontal slash instead of vertical. also jumpslash makes hitting loading zone much easier: youtu.be/aor3Jjocm2g
The clipping is inconsistent for now even if used same frames for each actions. Also after clipping, this angle requires ESS angle change on the specific frame but I think the frames can change too. Maybe the strength of holding ESS is related?
Boatkey Skip with SS bomb push clip is found by blini: youtu.be/kSoPOYfQCNw
Setup for SS Method 1: youtu.be/sRf8wiaD02o
Setup for SS Method 2: youtu.be/tWKHAPAFj1I
A different part is the order of 2nd and 3rd bomb for 1 bomb SS way. These are reversed in this video because you need to wait a bit after bomb drops and center shield drop first should be better than instant first since center shield drop takes time than instant (it's Jolin's idea)
All of them should be faster than old setups. Also No ESS setup requires sword but it removes ESS tap from Boat Skip. But charged spin angle makes clipping more precise. It should be fine as far as I tested but there might be possibility to cause inconsistency which I didn't notice. So try and judge by yourself.
I made setup for both 2 bombs SS and 1 bomb SS. These setup use sword but have the largest leniency for clipping so far. So maybe you can do this trick without pause buffering if you're enough good. Then it should be 7 sec faster compared with old way which using damage boost with 2 extra pauses (it would be 5 sec bomb pulling): youtu.be/tpZOJYy-HWQ
Using charged spin angle: youtu.be/eF50NpMGXSo
Now, I noticed the reason is not only the sign but also red ice pushes Link at the corner and the setup requires incomplete frame if you want to clip by only one jumpslash.
So I made another setups solved these problems. The red ice still pushes Link but it doesn't matter anymore since Link stops during 1 frame ESS turn and can get consistent position.
(EDIT2) There is another way now. SS part is harder but after clipping part is much easier: youtu.be/cFdhxct8RiQ
Boat Skip + BK Skip with SS bomb push clip is found by blini: youtu.be/kSoPOYfQCNw
Movement idea after clipping by zfg: clips.twitch.tv/BumblingFrigidCobblerTheRinger
Also nice naming "Boatkey Skip" by Jolin
This trick is kinda tricky but should save about 15 sec compared with normal Boat Skip + BK Skip with bombs. Although it uses 1 more bomb.
I made initial & non-initial setups which can use for both 2 bombs SS method & 1 bomb SS method. I don't think it's the fastest/best setup, we can improve more. But these setup has the largest leniency for clipping so far. So I made this video anyway.
I don't know which is better 2 bombs SS or 1 bomb SS. 2 bombs should be easier for SS, but technically 1 bomb SS is faster and 2 bombs has a problem that it can reduce frame window for releasing R in OoB because releasing R causes lifting motion if the explosion didn't disappear yet (Danny said it reduces releasing R to 3 frame window at least). So try both and use better one for you.
Also the movement after clipping requires diagonal input. So releasing R leniency can change by your diagonal notch and you might need to fix it. Check by yourself what direction is good.
Btw Smashmac made another initial setup. It's slightly slower than mine but can be faster if you drop bomb before ESS turn and has enough leniency for clipping: youtu.be/5oQynWEyTjk
Also blini has a non-initial setup which has less leniency. But It might give an idea at least: youtu.be/xkENHJdxwwg
This video explains how to do it and some stuff which Ama and I found.
Normally "Filling Lake CS" sets ToD (Time of Day) 6:45 AM (4800), but ToD is frozen even after finished cs if you warp to the cs without beating Water Temple. I don't know why but I think this is caused by the rain which doesn't exist after beating Water Temple. Actually you can stop it by serenade warp right before morning: youtu.be/PRbi-7t3GwQ
But more strange thing is ToD starts to go backwards if you shoot the sunrise during freezing ToD like I showed from 2:00. Rosewater guessed it's probably intended for the sun to not move during the CS but instead of stopping it the game just subtracts the time to counteract it normally being added... but not sure.
Anyway, please tell me if you know the way to do this without cheats/FW warp. It might be useful for some cases when you want to get Fire Arrows/tree GS token.
Poe WESS is known since long time ago and some people made setup for it. But most annoying thing was sometimes big poe spawns instead of poe and you can't use fire for WESS. But Danny made a yolo setup for avoiding Poe RNG and I made it more "setupy"
It's about 5 sec slower than using bomb megasidehop, but about 10 sec faster than just walking. So it should be useful in the case you don't have explosives.
I tried to use Baker's setup but used wrong sideroll direction, then found a bit simpler one.
It looks fast but only 1-1.5 sec faster than sva's setup which most people use: youtu.be/nkz1suNoI1s
Route Doc (I used the route in sheet 3 LACS FA Ganondoor Route): docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CzkHUpx9kqeXHR22-8hDE612i2Kfi9xgiCRQNSHg0rw/edit?usp=sharing
For MST, N64 is definitely slower than VC. Mainly because N64 can't use Fire Arrows Skip with Action Swap. So N64 route is much different from VC and I think the route difference itself is about 1 min, but N64 wastes more time from lags and slower loading. So maybe 2m-2m30s slower?
Anyway, even if N64 can't be faster than VC, I wanted faster N64 route and did many route testing and we have many new fast trick than before. So I think new route is over 3 min faster than old route which zfg used in 2017: youtu.be/kxevRbAmkUE
He is too fast even with old route and I couldn't beat him at this time, but 1:55 is definitely possible with this route for fast N64 runners and maybe 1:54 as well. Also actually this route isn't the fastest route and I used some slower way for safe. If you interested in the route ideas, please check route doc I pasted earlier.
For MST, I used ISG method here since I want to get a heart from pot for safe. But I'm tired of sometimes I failed it with a reason which is hard to see without ram watches.
So I made this setup. It's like 1 sec slower than ISG method with good aiming, but it wouldn't be bad in actual runs since usually you can lose time from aiming. At least, it should be faster than getting a heart from the other place (the fastest way is still not to get heart and being hurry up with less heat timer though)
Old Setup I made before: youtu.be/UC_H6_2JDrU
This setup should be few frames faster than old one even without 2 dryrolls after bomb drop and can save more few seconds with 2 dryrolls after bomb drop
Different Setup: youtu.be/gnCpypVjG4k
Old Setup I made before: youtu.be/UC_H6_2JDrU
This setup should be faster than old one but timesave is smaller than it looks because it took a bit more time to hit loading zone. So I don't know if it's really worth to use but documented anyway
Different Setup (Swordless): youtu.be/3GYvOgadURI
But I think initial idea by zfg: youtu.be/u9PDBCUAG4o?t=12
I just made jumpslash 2 frame window and removed C-up and ESS tap stuff
As I showed in the video, you can do this without beating the guard if you enter fortress on night-time. Of course, you need to beat her on day-time but then you don't need step 2.5 and 3.5.
It's useful if you don't have hover boots since it should be over 10 sec timesave compared with ledge clip method if you entered fortress from valley on night-time.
Hover Boots Method: youtu.be/bcCYAhsI8bY
Ledge Clip Method: youtu.be/KHJuhBKiqqw
Child Setup (2 frame window): youtu.be/W-nm9DNs34o
It's easy trick as adult, but kinda hard as child. Because for child, climbing animation is longer and it makes the time to door tight. Some people made setup for this but still climbing animation is long: youtu.be/hwPTdoqkfzg , youtu.be/vmr0OgHPZ2M
So I made the setup which has shorter climbing animation. It's easy and actually fast setup as well
useful for 5 GS No ZL route: youtu.be/LRGKm5CwGJU

Actually the concept is same as Another Adult DoT Skip: youtu.be/I5RO51cyfrM
Nozomu found that same but symmetric setup can clip for Reverse DoT Skip and commented to my setup video. But a thing was the setup required frame perfect release Z for clipping. So I made some simple setup.
This way is much easier and basically few seconds faster than old way using jumpslash clip into pillar. So I recommend to use this one.
Adult Rocks Collapse Skip is found by Jolin: youtu.be/MCon1vKCOUA
Also this setup is inspired by Jenslang setup: youtu.be/jjoAuVJolW0
This trick is useful for some categories needs to kill Ganon at the end like MST and RDO. Especially N64 MST has new faster route with this already: youtu.be/UTfYvtacIWA
I made this setup while ago but forgot to make video. Now, uploaded this for people who want to try new route.
Btw I used sword slash for falling after clipping. Because it's much easier than using jumpslash. Holding up is 21 frame window with vertical slash and actually you don't need holding up with horizontal slash. Also it's better if you want to use HESS after landing since you can pull out a bomb in midair.
Benjee's Swordless Setup: youtu.be/ztazqKBMIo0
blini's Child Rocks Collapse Skip Setup: youtu.be/8jF2qOxW4sA
But I noticed using Dodongdoor for LACS FA route seemed faster, so I timed Dodongdoor route then it was 13 sec faster than Normal LACS FA route as you can see in this video.
Route Doc (Normal LACS FAroute is sheet 3, Dodongdoor route is sheet 8): docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CzkHUpx9kqeXHR22-8hDE612i2Kfi9xgiCRQNSHg0rw/edit?usp=sharing
Also there is using Ganon's Castle area for fire arrows instead of LACS. It was 6 sec slower than LACS but it can be faster with good RNG. I doubt if it's really worth to do though: youtu.be/_9LrcdPxM_w
Either way, Dodongdoor route has some problems like many extra equips for fairies, no nuts Jabu and Jabu WW with bombs is kinda annoying. Also I supposed 4 Hearts Fire by Shadow HC Skip for both route, but if you want to do 5 Hearts for safe, it would be disadvantage for Dodongdoor route since you would waste bombs and some time for damaging down before Jabu WW. So I'm not sure if it's really worth to do for now.
(EDIT) Adarax found using full charged spin is good for no nuts Jabu. Actually it doesn't save time but much easier. So no nuts is less cancer now at least: youtu.be/JaE7-b_Ox_E
Btw Dodongdoor route was supposed to get GTG chus for fire arrows first, but it was slower and harder than using LACS: youtu.be/7TVpmlUursI
Also I tested to get magic bean for damage buffering in Jabu WW, but it was slower: youtu.be/l18mArnyeJY
Ganondoor route is 28 sec faster than 1080 route. Check this doc if you're interested in detail of both route (1080 route is sheet 2, Ganondoor route is sheet 3) : docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CzkHUpx9kqeXHR22-8hDE612i2Kfi9xgiCRQNSHg0rw/edit?usp=sharing
(EDIT1) I found Ganondoor route Jabu equips can be optimized more and it skipped 1 pause at Zora's Domain after Jabu, it saves 1.5-2 sec. Also Adarax pointed that HESS is faster than using hookshot after Goron Shop to LW, it saves 0.5-1 sec. So Ganonodoor route is over 30 sec faster now even with Shadow HC.
(EDIT2) Using Dododongdoor makes Gannondoor route 13s faster: youtu.be/AOAy3cbevOs
But Dodongdoor route has some annoying part, so I think normal Ganondoor route is enough good for consistency.
I made both route in February 2018. At that time, 1080 route was faster already, furthermore, collapse skip after 1080 room was found. So 1080 route was much faster than Ganondoor route before. But we got new tricks: Ground Clip Boat Skip, Damage Ground Clip in Gohma's room and Collapse Skip after Ganondoor room (A.K.A. Rocks Collapse Skip). These tricks made Ganondoor route much faster and finally it became faster than 1080 route.
The main point of Ganondoor route is of course Rocks Collapse Skip after Deku Ganondoor. But another point is using In Game Time after LACS for Fire Arrows. LACS sets IGT to 3:59 AM (2aaa) and it's right before morning. So for Fire Arrows, you don't need to watch Water CS for morning or don't need to be hurry in some areas where IGT advances like 1080 route. So often we call this route LACS FA route when we need to distinguish this route from another Ganondoor route.
I think basically LACS FA Ganondoor route is easier than 1080 route, but Spirit Jump and Fire Arrows after LACS is kinda tricky. So alternate route can be made.
(EDIT) I tested some route ideas. Most of them are slower than LACS FA Ganondoor route for now, but some of them can use for easier alternate route. Check route doc I pasted earlier if you interested in. (Btw getting ocarina was slower for Ganondoor route, so you don't need to waste time for WESS Escape%, thank you god: youtu.be/O4WzqcGGw_Y )
Sva and I improved his setup for neutral megaflip, so you can use chus as well with same setup.
Silver Block Skip with Midair Ground Jump: youtu.be/NA-u7s6zDsk
Silver Block Skip as Child: youtu.be/Ko2f_gtizP4 , youtu.be/WYSprv-WigE
Strat found by Tob: youtu.be/tjcztvmb6Jw
But actually hovering to silver block corridor part was found by Tsundere long time ago: youtu.be/6rcAOCPA8_0
Tsundere's video title is "useless" but it's useful now :)
You can skip a small key with this and it's like 15-20 sec faster than just climbing up Adult side. I tried Tob's ground clip setup with chus, then clipping worked but crushed by silver block after hover jumpslash. So made another setup for chus but works with bombs as well.
I didn't explain about hovering part, but I used sidehop chu-drop strat for initial hovering. When you equip hover boots, sidehop and shield drop a chu on the 1st sidehop frame, backflip on the 1st/2nd land frame, you take damage but still can hover, so do 1 more chu hovering before falling, then you can hover up after that.
If you don't like this way, can use Tsundere's video one instead, or Juwk has a video too: youtu.be/Godz0xwqJKg
But often I failed his setup. Also some people has 3-4 chus setup too but most of them use c-up for the angle. So I made new one using twisted hover.
Btw I recommend to have Deku Stick when you try this setup. Technically you don't need it but you can't kill skulltula if your position was bad. Deku Stick ISG helps to kill skulltula.
I made this setup in November 2018, but I didn't document well for a long time. Finally made a video for people who don't know this.
=CS for WW=
Deku Entrance CS doesn't work for this WW, but these CS works at least
- Title Screen CS
- Bolero Warp CS
- Hyrule Field Entrance CS
=OI Setup=
0. kill Gohma at the initial position
1. after Gohma Death CS, Z-target, turn right
2. jumpslash + R, 3 left sidehips
3. drop & catch fish, neutral roll, backflip for OI
*OI setup is based on Chainx's OI setup for old timerless bongo warp: youtu.be/qQ3e2SjQV3s
And actually his setup works too: twitter.com/bakeneko1048/status/1065606448464330754
I improved his setup for swordless for generality, but his setup is fine if you have sword, or you can use these non-initial setup too
My setup using manul line up: youtu.be/HyzPRtO4qds
Jbop's setup with no manual line up: youtu.be/K7wYb3CtzM8
but either way, be careful sidehop timing is kinda different after OI.
=Adjustment Setup=
1. hold left and cancel ocarina
2. Z-target right after Link faces left (first 3 frames work) and keep hold left for left sidewalk
3. sidehop once after blue warp went out of screen but before Link reaches to HC, keep sidewalk until came near the wall
4. get close to "Gohma Wall", Z-target to "side wall"
5. get ISG and do Ground Clip setup, keep holding Z (please check this video about this part: youtu.be/KpZIiiqcHAg )
6. after clipped, pause buffer to the 1st/2nd frame Link's arm came under "Gohma Wall" (I got 1st frame in this video), throw boomerang + hold UP to the the end

For now, it requires boomerang. I hope no boomerang strat will be found someday.

Only chus (and swordless) because it's for Beat Bongo as Child RTA and getting bombs is super slow.

Deku Entrance CS doesn't work for this WW, but these CS works at least
- Deku CS (the one before entering Deku)
- Bolero Warp CS
- Hyrule Field Entrance CS
=OI Setup=
0. kill Gohma at the initial position
1. after Gohma Death CS, Z-target, turn right
2. jumpslash + R, 3 left sidehips
3. drop & catch fish, neutral roll, backflip for OI
=Adjustment Setup=
1. hold right and cancel ocarina
2. slash deku stick + Z-target right after Link faces right (first 2 frames work) and keep hold right for right sidewalk
3. keep sidewalk until came near the wall, go to corner, backflip, left sidehop + sideroll, right sidehop, do left crouch stab for getting ISG from the grass
*you don't need setup for getting ISG. but often Link got right-ish angle when gran the grass and blue warp advances if you Z-target accidentally. so I used setup for safe, but just do yolo if you want to go fast
4. 2 frame ESS turn right, backwalk to "Gohma Wall" and Z-target to "side wall"
*be careful that blue warp timer would advance if you over backwalked to opposite "side wall". also be careful when do 2 frame ESS turn too.
5. turn around, Z-target, walk to near by opposite "side wall", 2 frame ESS turn right
*don't get too close to the wall, otherwise Link would target to the wall. or if targeted to the wall accidentally, get the angle again like this backwalk a bit, release Z and TAP UP, 2 frame ESS turn right. either way, don't release Z for too long time here, otherwise blue warp would advance
6. backwalk to the corner
*I recommend to do this backwalk SLOWLY because blue warp timer advances if you go fast before camera stops
7. do downroll from slowly backwalk, start ESS from the end of downroll (2 frames)
8. pause, hold down, advance 1 frame, hold up for backflip and shield drop a chu on the 1st backflip frame for hovering
*even if you just did forward backflip, blue warp timer wouldn't advance as long as you keep holding Z. so you can try again if you over-buffered for this part
9. shield drop a chu, backflip on the 2nd shield drop frame for 2nd hovering and target to the chu at the same time
10. pull out a chu, shield drop it on the 7th black, pull out a deku stick right after it, slash for falling on 2nd-5th explosion frame
*for chu dorp, few frames before 7th black works too, but slash frame would sift by the frame. for example, 1 frame before 7th black: slash frame would be 4 frames of 3rd-6th explosion frame
11. Z target when Link clipped and throw boomerang + hold UP to the end from specific frame (depends on Z-target frame but always frame perfect)
*there are multiple frames for Z-target + boomerang, so I just show 3 frame examples what can use easily
Z-target on 1 frame before clipping: imgur.com/a/nxQBeIk
Z-target on 1st clipping frame: imgur.com/a/Ih2zoob
Z-target on 2nd clipping frame: imgur.com/a/4R50MVn
For now, it requires boomerang. I hope no boomerang strat will be found someday.

2. Z-target right after Link faces left (first 3 frames work) and keep hold left for left sidewalk
3. sidehop once after blue warp went out of screen but before Link reaches to HC, keep sidewalk until came near the wall
4. still keep the angle and get close to "Gohma Wall", 1 frame ESS turn right
*you don't need to care about blue warp as long as Link is enough close to the wall and has good angle. but for ESS tun part, blue warp timer can advance if you over ESS turned and Z-target. So make sure you got exactly 1 frame ESS before Z-target
5. get ISG and do Ground Clip setup, keep holding Z (please check this video about this part: youtu.be/o3Tkp-zFRTg )
6. after clipped, pause buffer to the first frame Link's arm went out of screen, throw boomerang + hold UP to the end (frame perfect)

Beat Volvagia as Child: youtu.be/WdoYWLLkP5A
It's new route for Bongo as Child RTA. The main point is that using Deku WW to Bongo. For now, the setup requires boomerang, so you need to go to Jabu to get boomerang, but you can skip ZL and all shadow temple part and it saves a lot of time. sub 23 should be easy for good runner.
I had this route idea in November 2018 and made a setup for it. But I wanted to remove boomerang and waited for finding no boomerang strat is found, but it didn't even after half a year, so just run the route with boomerang. But I believe no boomerang strat will be found and sub 20 happen someday.
Btw v1.0 is definitely faster than VC for this route. Mainly because of Blank A for BotW Chus, but also many savewarping. So I don't know if this route is good for VC as well, but probably still faster than ZL route.
He called this way "Easy DoT Skip" , but I'm not sure if it's really "Easy" way because after clipping part is kinda tricky. So I call this just "Another".
As I showed in the first part of video, it's only 1.2 sec faster than usual way. Also it would be less than 1 sec for the case to Pedestal of Time. And actually it would be slower if you use backup/stick/BGS setup.
So it's basically faster but not that much. It's good thing to save some pause buffering though. I still recommend to use if you don't like the part after clipping.
Btw I used sidehop for Pedestal of Time because I feel it's easier than holding/switching stick direction after clipping. But i don't know if it's good for you too. Find good way for you.

homerfunky's Shadow Temple 100% TAS: youtu.be/jcoXVy0otsI
Jolin's twisted sideroll idea: youtu.be/f3JhHTbMr-8
Jolin's original idea required to use precise direction inputs, so I made it works with only straight direction inputs. it still requires many frame perfect inputs but possible now at least.
This trick is easy with explosives/hover boots (or just use the other way like longshot, boomerang and so on)

(EDIT) [Important Note]
Some people say they can't OI to blue warp, but it's because bugs pushed you and Link's position was changed. If you want to reduce risk of this bugs push, just add vertical slash + R before dropping bugs. This position works without bugs push and still works even with some bugs push. But it's not 100% guarantee to success, blame stupid bugs.
There was good setup for initial with HC since before
Zas's original video: youtu.be/jBxtR8haI_Q
Alien's tutorial: youtu.be/Eh0tZzAfk6s
But I wanted a setup you can catch bugs after neutral roll and made this one. It's like 0.5 sec slower with fish, but 2-3 sec faster with bugs because you don't need to wait bugs come to good position. Also you don't need to kill Bongo with slightly different angle.
Ledge Clip to Green Poe is Tsundere's idea: youtu.be/Et1PWiAru9c
Usually you need many hovering for this duping:
sva's setup: youtu.be/bbWdP3hbv8s
Tob's chu only setup: youtu.be/XVE7xiQHxck
But Ground Clip way can save many explosives and time. It would be useful for 100% NSR and bingo. A thing is clipping is precise and requires bombs for now. I hope someone find better setup/way.
Btw this duping has no limit on GC but has limit on N64/VC (50-56). But RTA found a way for Infinite Duping using Collection Delay: youtu.be/YZfAmFVa0Jk
You can use this dive in Lon Lon Ranch tower crawlspcae and the entrance coordinate is good for DoT Skip.
Also another point of this video is that you can do BA again after FWVW since FW on B can be duped with bottle easily by using shield swipe. So it's useful for the case you want another BA after used FW on B for a purpose. Especially useful for N64 since N64 can't use adult deku stick for DoT Skip.
I can't think out RTA category using this for now, but it might be useful for some restriction category or funny puzzle idea.
