I've owned many motorcycles over the years, but the last two are well documented on this channel. Both Yamahas. Both had a very hard life.

The first one, a Tenere 660, I sold at 193,000 km. The second, this Tenere 700, is at 90,000 km right now. Both had almost zero mechanical problems.

In this video, I share 7 maintenance hacks that kept them alive - and at least two of them go against everything you've been told.

Custom maintenance schedules
Keep it as stock as possible
Don't wash it very often
Look for early signs of mechanical wear
