This video shows you how to work a thread-wrapped button with six divisions. This expands on the death's head wrapping technique and is a great base for more complex buttons. Six-point wraps, which were used in the 18th century, are much easier to make than they appear.

This video also shows how to wrap a hexagon-shaped button mould for an even more unique look!
