Gina-B Silkworks | How to make a floral wreath button - not a Dorset - a Lincolnshire button! @GinaBSilkworks | Uploaded May 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
This video shows you how to make a pretty floral ring button. The technique for covering the button ring is not one used in Dorset or zwirnknopfe buttons - it is a little bit different. I decided to name the technique a Lincolnshire button, as that's where I was when I discovered the vintage example that inspired this.

I've used cotton perle no 12 and no 8 threads, and a 24mm (No 39) metal ring.
You can find the tools and materials I have used to make this over at our website - ginabsilkworks.co.uk

(and for those who know me, I've said something wrong in the intro. Can you spot it?) :)
