Lake George, beginning at the southern end of the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York and stretching thirty-two miles through the state's vast, protected Adirondack region of mountains and old-growth forests, has been called the Queen of American Lakes. Lake George Village, sitting at the Southern tip of the lake really comes to life in the summer with its bustling shops, restaurants, and arcades, as well as Fort William Henry, a restored British Fort built in 1755. If you haven't visited yet, here's your chance. And if you're already familiar with the area, come along anyway for a trip down memory lane. Lake George Village remains much the same as it was many years ago.
