Here's my first experience with using GoPro's AI editing software, based on a couple of hours footage from my recent Fort Lauderdale visit distilled down to around four minutes. It's quite different from my usual join-me-for-a-meditative-walk/ride uploads, flashier and a little more frenetic, but also amazing in that the AI edits make sense and are not merely random and chaotic. It seems to favor action – note the volleyball scenes – and often uses repetition of less active clips to give more of a feeling of movement and action. Please let me know what you think in the comments. (This video was originally uploaded on March 29th, but it was unceremoniously and unintentionally expunged when I was trying to delete of draft of my next video and I had to re-upload it. Sorry if you received a double notification for this one.)
Camera used for daytime footage: GoPro Hero 9 amzn.to/3KpWLPM
