Wow, another project I made a part in a while back got finished? No way, this year has just been insane. For those who aren't familiar with this level, Chromaticity, is a minute and half-length memory extreme demon mega collab hosted by Mephhh in the 1.9 GDPS. The level I am pretty sure took around 2-3 years to finish, which actually makes it older than the extreme demon "Stressed Out" which is also by Mephhh, some of you might know them for that.
The level has a mix and mash of different styles that help cater to the memory aspect in gameplay, some that have that modernized 1.9 style, while some dial it back and try to replicate the classic 1.9 look. All of which blend quite nice together.
This is Mephhh's last project for hosting as this level was an absolute roller-coaster, and I am really proud to be a part of it and have it hold easily one of my best aged mega collab parts for 1.9.
This level is indeed public, and it would be awesome if you could go show this level some love and attention that it truly deserves.

Brainstorm is a 1.9 GDPS solo and the debut solo Extreme Demon by EliseCat. Man, I have been really wanting to speak my mind on this level. The level showcases Elises experimental practices with 1.9 arts and effects while being paired with some incredibly difficulty and mind-bending gameplay. Giving you quite the brainstorm if youd say.
~ Gameplay Review:
This gameplay is incredibly difficult. I cant even begin to say just how hard this is because I seriously has a frustrating time to bot it. Whats actually crazy is that once you learn a section, you actually grow consistency at it, making this gameplay actually come off as quite satisfying to play once you get the hang of it. Super smooth to play off. I do also admire how Elise works with 1.9 gameplay and although it showcases the typical, makes wave section hard I like how some gameplay aspects actually rely on you having to memorize your route through gameplay sections that arent a wave. Like most of the cube and ship section. All of which are an amalgam of timing and memory. Wave sections consist more of speed and tight spaces, and UFO section are more on the timing clicks. The gameplay is honestly the perfect blend of both skill, memory and timing.
~ Deco Review:
Oh, I have been waiting to rip into this masterpiece. Brainstorm easily has one of my favorite art established atmospheres out of any 1.9 solo / debut I have seen to date. I love how the level feels like your actually in the mind of the player as you traverse through it but at the same time you feel like youre in a computer or a robot trying to compute a way out of it. Simply is just phenomenal. Elise does her best to stem away from relying on structures that dont stand out as too blocky and uses way more intricate assets to really follow the flow of the gameplay. A perfect is example of this is the curvy ship section right at the first drop, easily comes off as one of the smoothest sections in the level. All the art showcased is also just jaw dropping, especially when you remember that this comes from the same update as levels like Bloodbath and Supersonic. The mixing of both a human brain and the feeling of an interface of a computer mixing together in one is just an amazing concept. The level truly feels alive in that way.
I also got to say that I am in love with the color blends Elise uses from section to section. Seeing how the level can turn from a high tech and circuit looking blue to almost a natural skin and deep blood red is super impressive to me as it doesnt reset the environment the level sets and really has a clean and clear dynamic.
The level has its moments of being slightly empty or sections that feel that could use more. Such as ground spikes that linger as a giant black void, but I know she relies on black object lining to really convey the effects she uses, so I understand that hardships of trying to make that happen.

Literally making me red in the face level
Completion Date: March 14th 2026
Oh boy, where do I even start. Well, lets get this out of the way, I beat 5 Extreme Demons! Which was one of the goals I wanted to achieve in 2026. Where I would beat 3 more Extremes to total up to 5. I did achieve it pretty quick so I might try and push the goal forward.
Now you might be wondering why on earth would I want to play this level. So Red World is currently placed at the bottom of the AREDL. Which makes it the easiest Extreme Demon in the game right now. So, I of course wanted to beat it just to say that I beat this. It started off just fine since mostly most of my runs would really just keel me around the 60% ship mark or passed that, but oh boy was that ship section really just buttering me up with the sections passed 80%.
If you have beaten this level and say it deserves its Extreme Demon rating, it based entirely off that ending, and I dont want to sound biased because I was so unlucky, but that 2nd half is absolutely atrocious and really is the only reason this is rated Extreme.
It only took me 3 days to beat this, and it does mean that out of every level I have ever beaten, this was my unluckiest experience. Even if it meant it only took me less than 3K attempts to beat. But hooray! I have now beaten 5 Extreme Demons.
I was on call with my partner Susho, because they apparently wanted to tune into this torture with me :3

Phew, after a long 7 months. Here we are! I wished I had dropped this for 2025 to be a part of the long collab drop list that I did for last year, but of course, we dont live in a perfect world.

2026 is just my new best year isnt it?
Mega Mecha Metrics is my first solo in a very long time and is my debut for the 1.9 GDPS. This level actually starting in December of last year as a fun little layout, that I wanted to make revolved around memory gameplay. It wasnt until I started actually trying out deco styles that I realized I wanted to make this into a solo. So, after 9 months, 125+ hours, constant changes and scrapping of deco, I am happy to finally say that this level is officially done.
Thank you everyone who really encouraged me to keep going with this level as I was so happy to have all your support and love for the level. Means a lot to me.
I really want to thank the 1.9 GDPS, as I am super happy to be a part of the mini community that is that Private Server, and Im glad to showcase everything Ive learned from creating into this project.
Mega Mecha Metrics is set to be verified by me, but I will post updates if things either change or a verifier swap happens. I will stream my progression occasionally.
The level is also set to be on the lower end of difficulty range, aimed to be about in the top 1000 on AREDL. Of course, that is just me.

Oh hey, a Youknowwho solo, never seen one before. Except Brain Surge, but we dont speak of that abomination.

MMM was a level idea that I had randomly come up with back in October of 2025, where I thought it would be quite fine to attempt a solo memory layout. As I was building the layout, I was gradually making deco for each section as I thought about making it a collab. Once the GDPS saw my progress on the layout and the design ideas I had, they had said it would be a perfect solo. I wanted to really branch out of my core style and really focus more on my theming and design style, and I am really happy for what I have so far. The level has so far been in the works for 5 months and it is mainly because I am slow as hell with building and have had so many ideas, Ive wanted to convey into the level to really make it something special.
I really hope you guys like the current progress, and I do plan to redo some parts, and the level will be extended to be longer than what is showcased. So, what is currently shown isnt at all final in deco or gameplay.

Ive always loved showcasing Lamars levels, but this level in particular really hit a sweet spot for me. This level which I wrote a review for and sent to a couple of mods was truly a lot and its because this level has a lot of life to it. The way this level follows the sky theme and even has a hint of assets and ideas from Falling Up was honestly amazing, the song was done great justice in the theming and atmosphere that this level carries from start to finish. The middle section has such a harmonizing vibe that I Lamar was enough to make me tear up because of how incredibly melodic it was. The effects shown really enlighten the mood in the level and convey feeling and intensity quit well throughout it. The gameplay the level carries is kind of hard but not too incredibly hard, some parts are janky but still are consistent. Its a very amazing level and I would love to this level rated.
