2026 is just my new best year isn't it?
Mega Mecha Metrics is my first solo in a very long time and is my debut for the 1.9 GDPS. This level actually starting in December of last year as a fun little layout, that I wanted to make revolved around memory gameplay. It wasn't until I started actually trying out deco styles that I realized I wanted to make this into a solo. So, after 9 months, 125+ hours, constant changes and scrapping of deco, I am happy to finally say that this level is officially done.
Thank you everyone who really encouraged me to keep going with this level as I was so happy to have all your support and love for the level. Means a lot to me.
I really want to thank the 1.9 GDPS, as I am super happy to be a part of the mini community that is that Private Server, and I'm glad to showcase everything I've learned from creating into this project.
Mega Mecha Metrics is set to be verified by me, but I will post updates if things either change or a verifier swap happens. I will stream my progression occasionally.
The level is also set to be on the lower end of difficulty range, aimed to be about in the top 1000 on AREDL. Of course, that is just me.

Oh hey, a Youknowwho solo, never seen one before. Except Brain Surge, but we dont speak of that abomination.
Level Story: [Lore]
MMM was a level idea that I had randomly come up with back in October of 2025, where I thought it would be quite fine to attempt a solo memory layout. As I was building the layout, I was gradually making deco for each section as I thought about making it a collab. Once the GDPS saw my progress on the layout and the design ideas I had, they had said it would be a perfect solo. I wanted to really branch out of my core style and really focus more on my theming and design style, and I am really happy for what I have so far. The level has so far been in the works for 5 months and it is mainly because I am slow as hell with building and have had so many ideas, Ive wanted to convey into the level to really make it something special.
I really hope you guys like the current progress, and I do plan to redo some parts, and the level will be extended to be longer than what is showcased. So, what is currently shown isnt at all final in deco or gameplay.

Ive always loved showcasing Lamars levels, but this level in particular really hit a sweet spot for me. This level which I wrote a review for and sent to a couple of mods was truly a lot and its because this level has a lot of life to it. The way this level follows the sky theme and even has a hint of assets and ideas from Falling Up was honestly amazing, the song was done great justice in the theming and atmosphere that this level carries from start to finish. The middle section has such a harmonizing vibe that I Lamar was enough to make me tear up because of how incredibly melodic it was. The effects shown really enlighten the mood in the level and convey feeling and intensity quit well throughout it. The gameplay the level carries is kind of hard but not too incredibly hard, some parts are janky but still are consistent. Its a very amazing level and I would love to this level rated.

Surprise! Northern Essence Rated, Updated and a whole bunch more stuff lmao. This level was actually not going to get one until the day of the rate. Literally 2 hours when I pinged my play testers to start checking through the level, I got a DM on Discord saying it got rated. So that was a pleasant surprise. royen wanted to become the first victor but dropped it after reaching 91% and then telling me that the level could use some reworks. So of course, we got to work on actually fixing up the level. Just for all that to almost go to waste when it got rated and hour later. The updates made the level significantly easier in some sections and less chokepoint heavy. So, I am not so sure if this will linger on the Extreme Demon spectrum for long, but it should be okay.
Now, thank you guys so much for getting this project rated, means so much to me, and Im happy that a lot of the people were able to help Royen with updating some parts of this level. So good luck to you future victors!

10% - size change moved to the right by a few steps to prevent dying to the spike while
15% - spikes in ship moved down to not be raised and, on the structures,
15% - mini spike in the wave removed
17% - gravity portal rotated to match wave angle
19% - removed hitbox from top structure so you cant land on the edge on accident
21% - bottom structure moved up a few steps and slope added so you can simply hold
23% - spikes lowered and size change/ gravity portal moved to the left to prevent dying to the spike while switching size
23% - also added a pink orb
24% - spikes nerfed to make the orb click lenient
26% - saw lowered to widen gap
26% - big spike at the top turned into a small spike
27% - gravity portals rotated to have a 45-degree angle
27% - top saw raised to make gap more lenient
28% - mini spikes on the sides removed
28% - unnecessary gravity portal removed
29% - bottom slope hitboxes in the center removed
30% - portal moved slightly to the right
30% - portal after cube transition raised slightly
31% - extra mini block added at the top to prevent falling in between the structures
32% - slope hitbox at the bottom removed; mini slab slightly moved left
40% - top spike raised slightly to make the timing more lenient
42% - saw removed; top saw also removed but new saw added in the center
