In 2009, an anonymous user on 4Chan promised that he would travel to Pakistan to hunt down one of the FBI’s most wanted, a terrorist named Osama Bin Laden. The user then asked 4Chan what he should bring for his mission.
Of course, most of 4Chan thought it was a troll, but a few users actually believed him and told him that he should bring various things like a katana and night-vision goggles.
