In today’s episode, we’re in Charlotte, North Carolina at the legendary Benny’s Pizza taking on their famous 28-inch SOLO Pizza Challenge... a challenge that more than 47,000 people have failed!
Benny's Pizza is famous for serving some of the biggest New York-style pizza slices you’ll find anywhere. Their hand-tossed pizzas are made with fresh dough, quality ingredients, and baked to a crispy. Known for their laid-back atmosphere, awesome staff, and creative specialty pizzas, Benny’s has become a popular spot for anyone craving authentic New York-style pizza in the Queen City.
The 28” Pizza Challenge is pretty straightforward. All you have to do is finish an entire 28-inch cheese pizza within 28 minutes. If you succeed, your $40 pizza is free, you’ll earn a T-shirt, and if you’re an amateur eater, you’ll also take home a $280 cash prize! As a pro eater, you'll win $100 cash.
