This chapter follows the loading and transport of the Steam Yacht "Persistance" from her home of 13 years to the California Delta by "San Diego Boat Movers". The route took her South on California Highway 89 from South Lake Tahoe, then West on California Highway 88 through Kirkwood Meadows and Jackson, then West on California Highway 12, before finally going South on Interstate 5 to Stockton, CA.
A HUGE thanks to the guys at San Diego Boat Movers for the long hours and hard work to complete their "most challenging move yet" (Mainly due to the location of the boat at the house and 13 years of the soil not being compacted).
