The Reactica team returns for our 9th year in 2024! This year's theme is "Kinetic Carnival" - once again showcasing an atmospheric build, this year in the form of a domino and machine amusement park. This is our biggest and best year yet, with twice as many dominoes set up as last year, reclaiming our title of largest domino chain built in California! Reactica is also the only active US build event to balance dominoes with chain reaction machines, featuring full sections of both art forms in the same build.
This year's event took place from July 7 to July 13, 2024 at The Tech Interactive in San Jose, CA. The team also hosted workshops throughout the week teaching the venue guests how to build dominoes and machines. On July 13 at 1 pm, we toppled everything for an in-person audience of hundreds!
Thank you so much for visiting and building with us for the week! We look forward to returning for our 10th year in 2025... :)
