Squishy Circuits are fun to explore electronics with. However, I found that the LED's are a major week point. The LED can easily break or corrode, which frustrates students and teachers. The narrow LED contacts also loose contact with the dough, which does not help the students. Teachers also can't afford to burn through dozens of LED a lesson (Squishy Circuits consideres the LED's as consumables)
To address this, I made this #3dprintable LED holder. It holds the LED stable and secure, and also gives more surface area for the LED to work. It also is easy to clean and store, while giving students a bigger part to grab.
