While the majority of consumer-grade and hobbyist 3d printers utilize FDM (Fuse Deposition Modeling) technology, FDM is not the only 3d printing technology. In this video, I introduce my viewers to SLA (Stereolithography), MSLA (Masked Stereolithography), and a range of 3d printing technologies such as SLS, SLM, EBM, Binder Jetting and Material Jetting.

While not an advanced coarse on any of these technologies, this video will help you better understand the modern 3d printing landscape. The examples and explanations provided are simplified to improve understand for folks new to these approaches and that simplification may at times obfuscate advanced technical details.

Feel free to leave comments to help my viewers better understand the material so we can continue to learn together.
