This video is not about the Coronavirus or COVID-19, it is about how anyone can learn to design and create useful 3d objects. I start by demonstrating how to cut a prototype for a pocket square mask clip out of foamboard, continue to demonstrate how to design the object in FreeCAD, slice the object in Cura and print it on a Monoprice Ultimate 2 printer using MakerHackers Basic PLA.
If before the current worldwide health crisis you thought 3d printers where just toys it is time to think again. Desktop and even consumer-grade 3d printers area making a difference in our lives.
