In my search for the perfect 3d printer for beginners in 2020, specifically, a 3d printer that can be used with kids, I had the opportunity to review the new Monoprice MP Cadet.

This printer was provided to me free of charge by Monoprice for this review.

The MP Cadet makes several trade-offs to accommodate the needs of people new to 3d printing and provide a safer machine for use by children. Since all FDM 3d Printers involve moving parts and high temperatures, these machines must be appropriately supervised when used by children.

In this review, I cover both the 3d printer and the supplied software.
