Opening Video: Using the VirZoom VZ Sensor
Opening Theme: Giving the power of movement to those who cannot with 3D.
We have covered several stories in the past about the use for 3D fabrication to create low cost prosthetics and even a movement started by eNable to allow to use crowdsourcing to bring low to free prosthetics to children. We have shown the how surface and CT scanners allow us to capture 3D models of defective and broke bones in dogs and humans to determine the best course of action as well creating custom supports and even replacements. Now we are seeing the use of VR being used to allow disabled and low mobility individuals the gift of travel via sensor attached to stationary bikes and even wheel chairs.
