Wednesday Oculus announced the Oculus quest, a mobile VR headset that adds full 6DOF 'inside/out' tracking with two 6DOF controllers for a very reasonable price of $499, but sadly you won't be stuffing one in your stocking this holiday, but will have to way for the Easter bunny. With that said, we take a look at what those who have had a chance to test it, plus my own impression and technical insight on how it works and what to expect in the upcoming SDK.

Note: Make sure your ambiX audio file is 16 bit only for Unreal (sadly I had been lucky in my past attempts, but not when it was time to do the show :( ). It seems I had set the H2N to 24bit sample size. It was easy to convert if you have Adobe Audition, just import, select all and ‘Convert Sample Type’ to Bit Depth of 16 bits. Select OK and then ‘Save As’ to another file name. Also make sure you add ‘_ambix’ to end of your file name (which didn't really matter, it will still convert it)
