I’ve been practicing minimalism for about one year now. And it’s been an amazing journey so far! In this video, I share three lessons I’ve learned about minimalism this year.

I first heard about minimalism by watching the ‘Minimalism’ documentary on Netflix, a few years ago. I then read a few books on the topic, by The Minimalists, and also Fumio Sasaki’s ‘Goodbye Things’. However, I didn’t really take action until I decided to replace my couch.

Fast forward to today, almost one year later, and I’ve really embraced the minimalist philosophy. So, even though I still consider myself a total beginner, it feels right to share some of my insights about minimalism.

0:00 Introduction
0:42 #1: Minimalism creates space for what’s truly important.
1:39 #2: Minimalism is a lifestyle. Decluttering is just the start.
2:52 #3: Minimalism grounds me.
