Tender and juicy party ribs made easy with @kyvan82 BBQ Dry Rub and Sweet Potato BBQ sauce. This is not sponsored, I just really love their products and their story!
Kyvan Foods is a small, Black family owned business from right here in Georgia! They ship their products and you can find them in several stores so please follow them for more information
To make these barbecue pork party ribs, I took one rack of pork ribs removed the membrane from the back and then cut the ribs into individual pieces.
I seasoned the ribs with the Kyvan BBQ dry rub and smoked them meat side up at 275⁰ Fahrenheit for 2 hours.
Then I mixed about 1/4 cup of Kyvan Sweet Potato BBQ sauce into the juices released from the ribs as they cooked. Turn the ribs meat side down and cover with foil. This allows the meat to slowly braise for about 45 minutes to 1 hour at 275⁰f
Remove the foil and turn the ribs meat side up, then brush with another layer of sweet potato barbecue sauce. Broil the ribs for about a minute or two, watch them closely, so they don't burn
These ribs come out so flavorful, juicy and tender in the easiest way possible.
You can do this on a traditional smoker or grill or in your home oven without the smoke, but I love using the Ninja wood fire oven. Its a pellet smoker so you get good smoke flavor without messy charcoal and wood.
