1:51 - Myth #1: Should you start with a practice pad... or jump straight to a full kit?
9:58 - Myth #2: The less expected piece of gear I believe every beginner needs...
15:27 - Myth #3: The most common beginner's misconception about drum gear
20:59 - Question for you...
Most new drummers have the wrong idea about what’s important to buy vs what’s not, and I believe it all stems from some myths that are too easy to believe.
(And no shame here! We’ve all been beginners!)
I had an interesting conversation the other day with a new drummer who was struggling to figure out what gear he needed to get started.
A few minutes into the conversation, I realized he was believing some pretty big misconceptions that were going to stop him in his tracks before he ever even began.
I’ll share with you what surfaced in that conversation, and we’ll break down The only 3 pieces of gear you really need to have to get started on the drums.
If you’re a beginner drummer, and you feel overwhelmed getting going and like you don’t know what you don’t know, then you’re in the right place today. Let’s dive in!
I believe that YOU can become the drummer everyone wants in their band. Anyone can learn the drums, and you’re far more capable of mastering this instrument than you think you are. Don’t sell yourself short!
