Benjamin Britten‘s WAR REQUIEM embodies pacifism as an artistic stance. This anti-militarist, anti-nationalist memorial to remembrance has lost none of its significance in today’s political climate.
In the coming season, director Daniel Kramer and artist Wolfgang Tillmans will be restaging their 2018 production for the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
