Happy #InternationalPrimateDay! And today we're celebrating one of the most remarkable primates at DZCA: Saba, our 23-year-old mandrill who has been part of our primate family since her birth here in 2003.
Saba is not only beloved for her enormous personality and sharp intelligence, she's also a true pioneer in animal care. Saba has been living with diabetes for years, and thanks to the incredible collaboration between our Primate Care, Veterinary Medicine, Nutrition, and Wellness teams, her quality of life has never been better.
