A great idea to use your scrap fabric to make easy hexagon embellishments featuring buttons. You can make these origami style hexies into a wreath and use them to embellish your slow stitch pieces #slowstitching
I’m using some for our stitch along hexi mat and some as little gifts to stitching friends.
Everyone is welcome to participate and this project is beginner friendly for those new to slow stitch. We’ll be stitching a hexagon work mat for your studio or craft room desk featuring vintage embroideries, slow stitch designs and fabrics. I’ll be sharing vintage embroidery transfer designs from my collection and lots of inspiration to include in your own work mat. I’ll also be sharing other ideas using hexies.
You can join at any stage during the year and work at your own pace. This beginner friendly project can be tailored and adapted to the supplies and time you have on hand, and what you want to create with the hexagons.
