Welcome to the ninth of our community stitch along sessions which will run as premieres (so you can join the text chat while the video is showing) and stitch along.
In each weekly session we will stitch a different 1800s embroidery design which I will share ahead of the session so you can trace it onto your vintage linen or piece of fabric and pick out what colour and type of threads you want to stitch with.
I’m really excited to be bringing these antique designs from the 1800s back to life.

This week’s design is on my channel’s community page as a single image so you can print it out or trace the design off your screen or monitor onto a blank Doily or linen.
I’m really excited that I’ll get to chat with you in real time again while we’re doing this community stitch along project.
This project will be great for beginners and more experienced slow stitchers who want to expand their collection of embroidered motifs to include in their projects like slow stitch quilts or the #Roxysjournalofstitchery Field Notes Edith Holden project.
I’ll be using this piece for my Roxy’s journal of Stitchery for the prompt of winter berries. I just love the holly branch with the sweet little blue birds which symbolise my friendship with Kristy from @SewbitsKristy and Sally from @DottyBeeVintage
I’ll be including my pieces in my Roxy’s a journal of Stitchery Treasure Hunt slow stitch quilt and my field notes journal too.
