Join me in the field at US-1732 Brandywine Creek State Park, in Wilmington, Delaware, for an epic POTA activation with Paul KJ5GKK “The Southern Ham”, as part of his America 250 Rove. A solar flare nearly killed the 20m band just as we set up, but we pushed through and the band eventually came back to life, allowing us to log three thrilling DX contacts into Europe and allowing us to get the park activated. This is irrefutable evidence of how staying on the air—even in tough conditions—leads to success.
