What started as a routine Parks On The Air activation at US-1741 Lums Pond State Park in Bear, Delaware, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, turned into a real-time propagation clinic — 10m was open, then it wasn't, and 20m stepped in just long enough to keep the log moving. About an hour on the air, two bands, and a relentless hunt for 10 contacts to activate the park. The band conditions switched on me, but the activation stayed on target.
