When 6m opens, you don't hesitate — you activate (barring any other responsibilities that need to be taken care of also). On Sunday, July 19, 2026 I headed out to US-1741 Lums Pond State Park for another Parks On The Air (POTA) activation in Delaware, to try my luck to see if I could make any contacts on the Magic Band of 6m. Watch what happened when I was able to get out during one of these seasonal 6m band openings.
