The 2027 Lexus IS is staying alive, and Lexus is celebrating with a special version limited to only 350 units in North America. Based on the Lexus IS 350 F Sport, the new Special Appearance Package combines an exclusive Envious green exterior with forged BBS wheels and additional performance equipment.
The 2027 Lexus IS Special Appearance Package features 19-inch forged BBS wheels, green interior stitching, NuLuxe seating, and the Handling Package as standard equipment. Rear-wheel-drive models also receive a Torsen limited-slip differential, while adaptive suspension and multiple drive modes add to the sport sedan's performance character.
Power continues to come from the naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 producing 311 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel-drive models use an 8-speed automatic transmission, while all-wheel-drive versions are paired with a 6-speed automatic.
Lexus also loads this limited-production IS with technology, including Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist, Front Cross-Traffic Alert, triple-beam light-emitting diode headlights, a moonroof, a power rear sunshade, and a Mark Levinson audio system.
With only 350 examples planned for North America, the big question is whether this special 2027 Lexus IS will become a desirable collector version of Lexus' long-running sport sedan.
