The 2026 MG S6 EV is the most grown-up, best-value electric SUV MG has built. It uses a 77 kWh battery for up to 530 km (329 miles) of WLTP range, a 180 kW (244 hp) rear motor, and a big 674-litre boot that grows to about 1,910 litres with the seats folded. At 4,708 mm long with a 2,835 mm wheelbase, it seats five adults in real comfort, adds a calm cabin with quilted seats, a panoramic roof and a large touchscreen running MG's much-improved software.
The catch is the charging: the S6 peaks at 144 kW on DC, so a 10 to 80 percent top-up takes about 38 minutes, slower than a Tesla Model Y or an 800-volt Kia. But it undercuts those rivals by thousands and gives your passengers more room, and charging at home overnight makes the modest rapid speed a rare problem. UK prices start from 37,995 pounds for the SE Long Range.
