DPCcars | 2025 Toyota Camry Crash Test and Safety @DPCcars | Uploaded 3 weeks ago | Updated 1 day ago
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety recently evaluated the redesigned 2025 Toyota Camry, awarding it the prestigious Top Safety Pick+ recognition. Built on a front-biased platform, the hybrid-only model excelled in six out of seven tests, performing well in crashworthiness assessments like the small overlap front, updated moderate overlap front, and side impact tests. However, the headlights were rated acceptable, with the projector-style LEDs of the LE and SE trims receiving feedback for insufficient low-beam visibility on curves.
Higher trims, such as the XLE and XSE, did slightly better in the tests, especially in high-beam performance. The Camry also impressed in front crash prevention, particularly in pedestrian scenarios, avoiding collisions at speeds up to 34 miles per hour in nighttime testing. Safety features like seatbelt reminders and LATCH ease of use also received high praise. With starting prices at $28,400, the Camry offers a safe and tech-savvy ride for hybrid enthusiasts.
