The new generation of Lexus' flagship SUV, the Lexus LX, has arrived in Australia with 500d and 600 variants priced from $148,800.

The 2022 Lexus LX range is one of the biggest yet, coming with a choice of two engines – the 3.3-litre twin-turbo diesel V6 from the new Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series and a 3.5-litre twin-turbo petrol V6, sold as the LX 500d and LX 600 respectively.

The LX is available in four spec grades, starting with the base LX seven-seat variants, followed by the five-seat Sports Luxury and F Sport, and the uber-luxurious four-seat Ultra Luxury that's only available in LX 600 guise.
