In my first ever Major League Eating event, I got to meet some awesome people, some incredible eaters, and have a blast under the (hot?) October Memphis sunshine.
On 10/14/17, competitors had 8 minutes to eat as many moonpies as possible. Matt Stonie, defending champion, set the record at 85 last year! The final counts are not captured in this video, but Matt Stonie ate 75, beating Geoff Esper at 69. I got 7th place with 24.5 moonpies.
