It’s interesting to know that the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid just doesn’t have the spare tire as its standard equipment. Some vehicles had a tire repair kit while some model years didn’t offer even that. A lot of owners end up buying a donut spare tire and placing it just in the trunk to avoid bad situations on the road.
Unfortunately, since there is a big high-voltage battery pack, there is just no place to put the spare tire where you would expect to have it in the majority of other cars.
