In the Kia Soul made between 2014 and 2019, you can deactivate the traction control functions easily just by pressing the button ESC OFF. The button is located on the left of the steering column and it seems to be pretty intuitive, but it’s not.
In this video, I will show you two possible ways to deactivate the functions of the traction control and you’ll see that you can also operate the functions of the stability control, not only traction control. Fortunately, it’s very easy and you won’t need any special tools or skills for this.
Please remember that you should keep the traction and stability control functions activated at all times. Turn them off only in exceptional cases when you need to get out of a snow trap or get up a muddy hill.
