The ground clearance of the second-generation Ford Fusion is stated at 6.4 inches (163 mm) for fresh model years after facelift and 5.9 inches or 150 mm for earlier model years (up to 2017). It sounds good on paper, but basically the clearance is quite low on the end point of the bumpers.
The problem with the Fusion is not with the clearance but with the approach and departure angles. The car will damage the bumper, especially the front one, if you take it to an off-road route.
